Terms of Use

These Terms are an agreement between you and Servicios-Fuente Moderna S.L., Pl. de Carlos Trías Bertrán, 4, 28020 Madrid, España ("we", "us"). They apply to the website theinstictdietbook.com, to the Secure Clean iOS app and to every Premium subscription bought on the website. Installing the app or buying a plan means you accept them. The Subscription Terms, the Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy are part of this agreement.

1. Who can use the service

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract under the law of your country. If you use the service for a company, you confirm that you may bind that company.

2. What Secure Clean does

Secure Clean is a utility for iPhone that helps you:

  • find similar and duplicate photos and screenshots;
  • compress large photos;
  • find duplicate and incomplete contacts and merge or delete them;
  • remove GPS and EXIF metadata from photos;
  • keep selected photos in a PIN-protected folder;
  • run Smart Check, a summary of what could be removed and how much space that would free.

Photo Cleanup and Contact Cleanup are available in the free app. The remaining tools require a Premium subscription. The app proposes items; nothing is deleted or merged until you confirm it.

3. Subscriptions

Premium is sold only on theinstictdietbook.com, not inside the app and not through the App Store. The App Store is used to distribute the app. Current plans are the 3-day trial for USD 3.99 which converts to the monthly plan at USD 39.99, the weekly plan at USD 9.99 and the monthly plan at USD 39.99. All plans renew automatically until cancelled. Prices, billing cycle, renewal, cancellation and price changes are set out in the Subscription Terms.

After payment we email you the login details of your account. You are responsible for keeping them secret and for everything done with them. Tell us at once if you suspect misuse.

4. Your responsibilities

When using the service you agree to:

  • review suggested items before deleting them and keep your own backups of important photos and contacts;
  • use the app only on devices you own or are allowed to manage;
  • not reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, rent or sublicense the app, and not bypass licence checks;
  • not use the service for anything unlawful or to harm other people's data;
  • give us accurate contact and payment details and keep them up to date.

5. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on iPhones that you control, for the duration of these Terms. All rights in the app, its design, texts, logos and code remain with us or our licensors. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the product without any obligation to you.

6. Device permissions and data

The app asks iOS for access to the photo library, contacts and notifications. Each permission unlocks one feature, and you can revoke it in Settings at any time. Photos and contacts are processed on the device and are not uploaded to us. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

7. No professional advice

The service gives practical suggestions for freeing storage. It is not a backup tool, not a security product and not a substitute for professional data-recovery services. Decide carefully what you delete.

8. Third-party services

The app runs on Apple iOS and is distributed through the App Store under Apple's terms. Payments are processed by an external payment provider under its own terms. We are not responsible for services we do not operate.

9. Updates and changes to the service

We may release updates that add, change or remove features, and we may require an update for the app to keep working. If a change materially reduces the features of a paid plan, Section 9 of the Subscription Terms applies and you may cancel and claim a proportional refund.

10. Warranties

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Beyond the guarantees that consumer law gives you, the app is provided "as is": we do not promise that every duplicate will be found, that compression will reach a certain ratio or that the service will be free of interruptions. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the law of your country.

11. Liability

We are liable without limit for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for death or personal injury, and in any other case where the law does not allow limitation.

In all other cases our liability for a given year is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event. We are not liable for data you deleted after reviewing it in the app, for loss of data that was not backed up, or for indirect loss such as lost profit.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the app at any time and ask us by email to delete your account. Cancelling a subscription is described in the Subscription Terms.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, that is used for fraud or chargeback abuse, or that is required to be closed by law. If we close an account without such a reason, we refund the unused part of the current billing period.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer in another EU or EEA country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country also apply. Disputes go to the courts of Madrid, unless consumer law gives you the right to sue in your own country.

Consumers in the EU may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). We prefer to solve problems directly: write to us first and we answer by email.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms. The current version is always on theinstictdietbook.com with the effective date at the top. For changes that affect existing subscribers we send an email at least 14 days in advance; if you do not agree, cancel before the change takes effect.

15. General

If a clause is held invalid, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a clause is not a waiver. You may not assign this agreement; we may assign it to a successor that takes over the service, and we will inform you. The English text is the authoritative version.
